Following on from the RYA Connected Conferences, we have lined up a series of free workshops during January and February 2026 to come together at a local level and explore hot topics you’ve told us are important to you.
For 2026 we will be focusing on the following topic
- Developing people: Local solutions for instructor training and development
Collaborate on practical, grassroots solutions for workforce development.
You’ll explore how to build local capacity, share best practices, and work together to create tailored workforce development plans that empower each organisation to run its own courses and shape its future.

Hosted by the RYA North Regional team, these evenings will provide local opportunities for us to learn together. You’ll be able to catch up with the latest insights and take away actionable ideas to inform your planning and activities for the coming year and beyond.Ìý
Open to all RYA Affiliated clubs, classes and organisations, our 2½ hour workshops will focus on essential themes and include time for you to network with other attendees.Ìý
