RYA Scotland Board vacancies  

RYA Scotland is currently seeking two passionate and skilled individuals to join our Board as voluntary non-executive directors, an Honorary Secretary and a Director for Communications and Partnerships. 

The RYA Scotland Board plays a vital role in shaping how we operate and ensuring we deliver meaningful impact in line with our People, Places and Communities strategy. If ²â´Ç³Ü’r±ð enthusiastic about supporting our mission and have relevant experience in any of the areas outlined below, ·É±ð’d love to hear from you.

Honorary SecretaryÌý

This role is central to ensuring good governance across the organisation.ÌýWhile boating or marine experience is not essential, we welcome applicants with professional backgrounds in:Ìý

  • Sports governing bodies
  • The third sector or charity sector
  • Public sector
  • Business, leadership, or governanceÌý

Director for Communications and PartnershipsÌý

This role supports our Communications & Engagement team inÌýrepresentingÌýScotland’s boating community and building strong, strategic partnerships. Ideal candidates may have experience in:Ìý

  • Sponsorship and commercial partnerships
  • Journalism, PR, or social media
  • Marketing and content creationÌý
